My hectic and frustrating day of scheduling
Today I was scheduled to register at 8am. I woke up early to double check my schedule and see what was still available. I was all ready to go at 8am and everything read off with errors. I was able to schedule 3 of my classes right away. I then kept trying to get through the system but it kept saying error. Around 8:45 I was able to finish my scheduling. I have 7 classes next semester and it looks like it's going to be challenging yet enjoyable. I am taking 3 classes for my minor which is Adapted Physical Activity, and then I am in Outdoor Pursuits, Personal Physical Fitness, Anatomy :x and Life and leisure Activities. It will be a hard and busy semester but I am excited for another year! I can't believe I am going to be a junior!

I too had difficulty with the new system! It is nice to see that you got into adapted physical activity as many P.E. majors were rejected from the course. Life and leisure, outdoor pursuits, and walk jog are all enjoyable classes, but as you said before anatomy is going to be a rough one. I hope anatomy is not as hard as people make it out to be. Glad you got the majority of your classes though!
ReplyDeleteI would definately agree that the new system did create some havoc and it was something I was not ready for. Being a P.E major, it is extra hard to get the basic classes that you need in order to get your degree. I believe that there are ways that scheduling could be easier. If there werer more professors teaching more classes so that the people who need the classes could actually get the classes would help. Also, have certain majors schedule earlier so they can get the classes they need in order to get enough credits. I scheduled on Friday, and it was all I could do just to get twelve credits.
ReplyDeleteI had no problems at all with the new system thankfully! I couldn't get in to Intro to Adapted but just chose another class instead. I hope they fix the problems for next year though because from what I have heard it was a big pain for most students. I have A&P and Life and leisure also! Hopefully we'll have class together so we can continue the trend of having classes together every semester since our freshman year! Can't wait to be JUNIORS!!!
